BVSC have launched a new monthly survey enabling the sector to quickly feed in live issues affecting their beneficiaries, their organisation and experience of local Covid-19 outbreak control planning. This helps BVSC offer the most helpful support and provides us with insight to shape and inform local planning that is happening NOW!
Respondents that have already completed the survey tell us that:
Last month George Floyd, an unarmed black man, was killed when a white police officer knelt on his neck for over 8 minutes. After his death, Black Lives Matter protests have been held around the world, with thousands turning out to march against police brutality and systemic racism.

Details of Carers Group held by Crossroads Care and Irish Community Services
Bexley Green Points rewards communities within the borough for their recycling efforts. The application process is now open for local community projects to become beneficiaries of funding.
The scheme works by rewarding residents with Green Points when they recycle more and waste less. 18 communities in the borough compete to earn the most Green Points and every 6 months we have £5,000 to give away to local charities and community projects. The communities that earn the most Green Points get the biggest say in how the prize money is donated.
