We have been working with the National Community Lottery Fund since July to explore a grants fund just for Bexley groups and focused on Bexley’s needs and priorities. We are so pleased the Lottery recognises the importance of local voluntary sector and local decisions- as we are closest to our communities.
We are delighted to tell you that last week The Lottery awarded BVSC £150,000 to administer a grants process to you. The money is for you to meet the needs in your communities. This is the first time a national funder has worked so closely with us locally to get funds where they are needed- trusting local knowledge and services and we can’t wait to open the fund for you in January.
