Evergreen Care UK are looking for a Finance Manager at Wilmington Community Church, responsible for supporting and maintaining financial services and first report to senior management. These duties include but are not limited to: supporting the Finance Officer, maintaining Liberty Accounts functions, budgeting and assisting in the drafting of monthly management reports.

Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the COO the Finance Manager will support and assist the Finance Officer in all routine bookkeeping duties, ensuring the smooth running of financial operations. The Finance Manager ensure that effective methods are put in place to meet current and upcoming regulations pertaining to Charities eg Charities SORP (FRS102).
Duties (this list is not exhaustive)
• Supervision of regular posting of purchase and sales ledger entries.
• Maintain fixed asset register
• Month and Year End procedures
• Verify all reconciliation
• Prepare monthly journals
• Maintain chart of accounts
• Manage funding for operations and grants
• Ensure safe guarding of all Evergreen Care UK finances via the implementation and adherence of financial policies and procedures
• Generate and monitor all budget for operational activities and grants
• Work to deadlines
• Reconciliation of control accounts and funds
The Finance Manager must be knowledgeable in the following areas:
• Proven experience working as a finance manager
• Proven expertise with computerized accounts systems. Knowledge of Liberty would be a bonus
• Charities Commission requirements
• Highly proficient computer skills including in-depth knowledge of Excel and major Microsoft programmes
• GCSE Mathematics and English
• AAT Level 3 or equivalent
• Good editing, data collection, record keeping with analysis skillset
