Would you like to be part of a busy, dedicated and supportive team, providing support for unpaid Carers in the London Borough of Bexley?
Carers’ Support (Bexley), a registered charity supporting Carers in Bexley and Greenwich, is looking to recruit a Carers Information and Support Worker to join our team. This is a 2 year post, and will involve working predominantly in the North of the Borough (Erith and Thamesmead areas) providing information and advice (including welfare benefits advice) as well as facilitating support groups for Carers and the disabled people they care for.
The successful applicant will have excellent inter-personal skills and knowledge and understanding of caring and the issues that Carers face. A working knowledge of the health and social care system and the welfare benefits system would be an advantage.
