We are looking for a part time Project Co-ordinator with exceptional communication skills who can lead this exciting project working with hearing impaired residents. As project Co-ordinator you will take the lead for day-to-day delivery of the project, developing it into a high-quality service. The role will involve working directly with service users to identify their needs and to pair them with an appropriate volunteer.
You will need to establish ways in which you can recruit committed volunteers. Knowledge of how to plan and prioritise your workload is essential, as is the ability to communicate with a wide range of people, including deaf British Sign Language users, therefore some knowledge of BSL would be an advantage. This is a varied role and you will need to be flexible to develop the project to ensure it meets it’s outcomes.
