Great Weight Debate Event

Registration is closed for this event
Join us in the conversation to tackle obesity and get involved in making Bexley Sugar Smart. The Great Weight Debate event on 26th April 2017 will give you an opportunity to hear key speakers discuss the context of the obesity crisis in London, and particularly in Bexley. You will also hear about the numerous initiatives being trialled to tackle obesity and have the opportunity to tell us how you think we can tackle obesity in Bexley and how you could get involved.

This is a fantastic opportunity for groups and individuals to be involved in a local conversation about tackling Bexley’s obesity problem. We have the second highest obesity rates in London! So we need your group to join the conversation and share your ideas about what more we can do.

If you are already running groups/events we would love to know more and publicise what you are doing. We want members of the public, staff from the statutory and voluntary sector and service users to become engaged in the debate.

We'll have different speakers on the day to give more information about the Great Weight Debate and we'll be there to talk about your ideas and how you could get involved.

For more information or to get involved contact Carol Penny by email on cpenny@bvsc.co.uk or call 01322 524682.
