Find Out About Funding Event (FOAF)

The event is open to all voluntary and community sector organisations who benefit the residents of Bexley. There is a 'Getting Started' breakfast session, with Q and A, before the main event for those that are new or relatively new to fundraising which will include finding out about where to look for funding and how to write a good application. All welcome.  The main event is for both experienced and fledgling fundraisers and provides an opportunity to meet the funders face to face. Presentations will include The Funder's Perspective; Demonstrating Need; National and Local Funding Trends and Innovative Data Collection, followed by a panel Q and A. The Market Place provides an opportunity for mini one to one consultations with Funders and to book a longer one to one consultation.

The funders and supporting organisations attending will include:  BVSC; Childhood Trust; City Bridge Trust; London Borough of Bexley; London Sport and Partnership for Young London and lots more as noted on the News section of our website.

The event is free of charge and light refreshments will be provided.

It will be held at the Nest, Cygnet Square (click here for directions NEST (SE2 9FA)). There is NO parking at the venue so please allow enough time for parking. There is free parking available in Yarnton Way; Seacourt Road (by Willowbank Primary School) or Hartslock Road.

The Wifi access code on the day is 'PeabodyGuest', which will provide 24 free access to the wifi.

The event takes place on the top floor but there is a lift available.

13.45            Event finishes
