VCS Covid-19 E-bulletin: Issue 6
Please find advice and resources below which should help you to sustain and adapt your organisations through this difficult period. There are new things coming out every day and we are working to keep you up to date. We’ll be sending regular bulletins and we encourage you to follow us on Twitter (@BexleyVSC) You can view last weeks eBulletin here. We also need to know how we can help you. If you have a moment, please fill out this webform. Whether you need advice, guidance, or more volunteers please do let us know. It is essential that we know what help you need, your challenges and issues. We may able to help or can direct you as appropriate. We are also in regular contact with The London Borough of Bexley and the CCG and will be feeding in gaps, pressures and local issues.

Bexley Covid-19 community response update:
BVSC have established a Volunteer Hub and over 1000 people have registered to volunteer. If you need volunteers please do get in touch- we are placing people with specific expertise such as fundraising, IT and administration and groups of volunteers who can help for example with dropping off food or telephone welfare checks.

London Borough of Bexley is here to support you during the Coronavirus pandemic. Many of you will have friends, family, neighbours and other support networks to help you, but if not Bexley Council are here if you need help.
Whether you need someone to get shopping, pick up other essentials, or to give you information, guidance and advice.
The helpline will be open from 8am to 8pm you can alternatively apply for help online

- My community- is a fantastic charity resource, packed full of tools, tips and ideas to support your organisation! Includes; funding, marketing, finances, governance, staff and volunteer management, parks and green spaces, affordable housing, and SO much more packed into one place! Its worth a 10 minute browse in your tea break to have a good nose around!
- Find Help toolkit- Launched to support citizens, covering range of circumstances including feeling unsafe, going in to work, paying bills or being unemployed, getting food, having somewhere to live and mental health and wellbeing.
- Essential Trustee Resources- 6 5 minute videos by the FSI
- Increase your Twitter Engagement- Charity Digital has put together a useful guide on how small charities can get more out of their Twitter account. This is really useful if you are new to social media management or want to refresh your thinking and approaches.
- Tempo online forum & webinars- Free sessions from 2nd June, including tips to working remotely
