Introduction to Outcomes and Impact

Registration is closed for this event
This course is only available for groups who have been accepted onto the Impact in Action's skill-up cohort. Effectively demonstrating your impact to your key stakeholders such as donors, grant makers, partners, trustees, media and staff is essential for securing ongoing support for your work.

This course is one of the six modules for BVSC's City Bridge Trust funded Impact in Action project. Delivered by the FSI, this course will provide an introduction to monitoring and evaluation approaches and practice.  It will be particularly useful to those who are new to outcome and impact measurement, responsible for applying to and reporting back to trustees, or are in the planning stages of a project or service. At the end of this course, participants will:

  • Have an overview of monitoring and evaluation approaches and practice
  • Be able to identify and describe the outcomes and impact of their work
  • Use simple yet effective measurement tools to gather evidence of their impact.
  • Be able to develop a monitoring and evaluation framework to help assess effectiveness and impact
