This course is an introduction to marketing communications and social media, designed specifically for the community and voluntary sector. It aims to build capacity, raise awareness and, provide foundational digital business skills.
We consider the value and merits of having a strong and effective social media presence. We also explore the different tools available to the third sector; the myths and realties of Social Media and how Social Media can raise your organisation’s profile.
Come and consider the value of social media and see how you can invest your resources in a key area that can increase both your reach, and, your impact.
This introductory course will be complemented by short practical workshops throughout the year on key social media tools including twitter, websites and instagram.
