BVSC are working with Partnership for Young London who would like to offer Voluntary and community sector based in Bexley a free training session on developing a theory of change. Having rigorous data provides tangible evidence to you and your stakeholders that you are adding value and making a real difference to your beneficiaries, which is of particular importance in this period of austerity.
This 1 day session has been designed for those working with children and young people from small to medium voluntary and/or community sector organisations who are new to, or want to refresh their knowledge. Having a Theory of Change and will help your organisation create the most appropriate activities to achieve required outcomes and thereby assist you in collecting the right data to measure your effectiveness.
By the end of the course you should have acquired the following:
- An increased awareness of how to use the Theory of Change model and an understanding of its benefit to your organisation
- Be able to create a Theory of Change that can be shared with colleagues within your organisation and used for other projects
- Be able to identify the next steps required to put the process into action
