Volunteers and the law

Registration is closed for this event
Do you know where you stand legally with your volunteers? The legal position of voluntary workers can look complicated from the outside – some areas of law impact on volunteering, while others completely ignore it, leaving volunteers without protection from unfair dismissal or discrimination. This training will give you an overview of the relevant law in plain English, focusing on practical lessons to draw from the information.

Suitable for:

This workshop will be of use to volunteer managers, and anyone within a volunteer-involving organisation who needs to know where they stand legally in relation to their volunteers, such as general managers or trustees
