Robust and effective safeguarding practice is essential for any organisation working with children and young people. This workshop will be delivered by Children England and is specifically designed to explore Supervision, Case Auditing and Management- all essential in safeguarding practice AND areas which funders expect to see reflected in applications.
Participants will understand the following process, and be able to identify best practice in regards to:
- Undertaking case files
- have effective case management
- provide supervision for staff that is effective and supports the clients needs
The session will also support participants to write these elements into a funding bid and respond to questions at funding interviews.
Practical checklists and templates will also be provided.
The workshop will also explore persuasive, professional and confident written and verbal presentations techniques. This session is delivered by an excellent trainer that BVSC have specifically commissioned to support Bexley groups.
The workshop is at Hurst Community Centre, Hurst Road, DA5 3LH. 15th September 2016 10.00-16.30 (registration and refreshments 9.45).

The workshop is for Voluntary and Community sector groups only that either provide services in Bexley or support Bexley children and young people.
Teas and coffees will be provided but not lunch, please feel free to bring your lunch or there will be time to get food locally.
