Suitable for:

Social Value helps community and voluntary organisations understand how they have a competitive advantage in procurement and fundraising. The training explains how to describe your organisation’s strengths so that you can stand out using a social value approach, when trying to win FUNDING and contracts and demonstrating your IMPACT.

Content:

Identify how to expand your reach/potential via social value partnerships and networks eg; with private companies. For example; there are individuals and private companies looking for organisations to partner with on social value projects, do you know how to describe what you can offer?

Understanding and demonstrtaing your social value can:

  • Increase your income streams by learning how to bid for funding using the concept of social value
  • See how the third sector is placed at a particular advantage with the idea of social value
  • Learn a new way to describe your organisation's added value using the language of social value, come and see what social value means
  • Understand how to plan for your organisation's future and how to tap into this new demand for organisations and services that add social value
  • Demonstrate your impact using social value

Delivery method:

We will look at real life examples of where people have won contracts using a social value approach and you will leave with an action plan for what you can do after the training. Come and learn more about social value, what it is, why it is being used and identify how it can help you to create impact.

This interactive training uses a mixture of trainer led and group led sessions, and you get the opportunity to describe your organisation, using a social value approach whilst benefitting from some constructive feedback.
