This 3 hour workshop will give delegates an insight into how to prepare a budget, with a particular focus on those who are planning to apply for the Young Londoners Fund (YLF) (click here for further details about the YLF).
Use this practical workshop to sit down and really work out (or improve) your group’s income and expenditure for the next 12 months. Using various CYP real case studies, you will learn how to ensure full cost recovery, better understand how to manage cashflow, and avoid financial pitfalls often faced by community groups. Aimed at new or well-established groups, remember to bring your current budget / cashflow / financial projections and questions to this fully interactive session.
There is not a great deal of funding out there for children and young people's work so please do not miss out the opportunity of building your skills in preparing budgets so that you can apply for a slice of £45M funding. The deadline for the YLF is Friday 12 July at 12 noon, so attendance at this workshop and other elements of the package below is essential :-
