How to be a leader with influence

Registration is closed for this event
Would you like to have more influence as a leader? Come along to this two-part training to explore how to inspire, encourage and persuade others using your own unique leadership style. Be prepared for a lively, interactive training with a focus on the practical rather than theory.

This is part 1 of a 2 part workshop. Please be aware you will need to attend both sessions.

Workshop Part 1: Know yourself

Great leadership starts with knowing the unique contribution only you make as a leader, so you can use your qualities, attributes and skills to their greatest effect. In this workshop we will discover what makes you you and how you can grow and develop, through a set of engaging practical exercises.

Workshop Part 2: Influence others 27/02/2020

Workshop 1 is a pre-requisite for this workshop in which we will learn about the different elements in powerful influencing, both inside and outside your organisation. There will be opportunities to practice key skills.

Katie Duckworth is an infectiously enthusiastic coach, workshop leader, speaker and writer. She has worked in the non-profit world for 30 years, first in communications and education then as a freelance writer. She now draws daily on this experience in her role as Director of Be The Change Coaching & Training (www.be-the-change.org.uk) which she set up to support non-profit leaders and their teams to find the elusive ’sweet spot’ between going all out to change the world and loving work.
